MANAS-SPARSH
Healing Minds. Restoring Hope.
Focus Areas: Mental Health | Trauma-Informed Care | Psychosocial Well-being
MANAS-SPARSH addresses the often-invisible crisis of mental health among India's most vulnerable populations. Prisoners, undertrials, victims of violence, and marginalized youth carry heavy burdens of trauma, depression, anxiety, and hopelessness—yet mental health services are almost entirely absent in the contexts where we work.
We provide comprehensive mental health support through screening, counseling, trauma-informed care, and resilience-building programs. Our trained mental health professionals and counselors work in prisons, communities, and learning centers to provide both crisis intervention and ongoing psychosocial support.
Mental health is not a luxury—it's a prerequisite for effective learning, successful rehabilitation, and meaningful reintegration. By addressing mental health needs, we dramatically improve outcomes across all our other programs.
